The dressage workshop takes place at Anja’s barn “Gut Rosenhof” in Southern Germany<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Location on google maps<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n The programme starts on Monday, August 4th until Saturday, August 9th, 2025, always from 10 am to 5 pm with a lunch break from 1-3 pm. There is no programme on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Anja typically starts the morning and afternoon sessions with a theoretical presentation which is followed by practical examples. Anja and her riders present the horses currently in training. Every ride is explained and commented by Anja explaining what is important to her and why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The programme includes young horses, lateral work, canter, piaffe and passage, Spanish walk, in-hand work and working equitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Participants get to watch beautiful riding and learn how to select the best gymnastic exercise for their horse. Anja is very generous with her time and answers every question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The clicker training programme wraps around Anja’s programme, i.e. before (9-10 am) and after (5-8 pm) and we’ll certainly continue discussing during lunch and dinner. On Wednesday, the clicker training programme is planned for the entire day, probably including an excursion (to be defined).<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Clicker training programme is going to be in form of presentations including video. We are going in more depth into the training as elaborated in the email series on starting young horses (or restarting) under saddle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you have not yet subscribed to this series, you can do that hier<\/a> and you’ll receive 24 daily emails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There is the possibility to join the holiday house<\/a> that I have booked from the 3rd to 10th August. It has space for 10 guests. The cost will be shared (estimated cost is \u20ac 350 per person for 7 nights). The house is 30 minutes drive from Anja’s barn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Travel by car is the easiest as the area is rural but I will help as much as possible to find a train connection from e.g., Munich airport.
